Welcome to the hive note program: Hivelog – Keep it simple. This is a program that can be used on smartphones, iPhones, and iPads in the beekeepers apiary or on your personal home computer.

The aim is to have an easy, fast way of collecting the most important data of the bee colonies (or queens) during a beekeeping season.

This hivelog program is owned by the Danish Beekeepers Association, www.biavl.dk and created and produced by Flemming Vejsnæs and Ole Kilpinen in cooperation with the programmer Matthias Frey, www.frey-it.com. The program was created in the period of 2013-2016.

Regular backup is taken of all data. We have taken all necessary precautions, so that no data will be lost.

Anyhow, by accepting this disclaimer you agree that we can not be responsible for any data loss from your account. You can secure your data on your own by using our export facility, where you export your data to a CSV file, which can be imported into a spreadsheet.

The use of this program is free. The only support you can expect is the help section within the application, and the instructions that can be found on www.stadekort.dk (Danish) or www.myhivelog.org (English) or www.RaApi.org (spanish).  Further suggestions for improving the program can be send to: fv@biavl.dk or olek@biavl.dk.

We hope this tool will improve beekeeping and queen breeding in general.
